Matthew Palmer - BEng(Hons), CEng, MIET.

  • Extensive engineering experience and knowledge in all aspects of D.C. traction systems engineering, from initial conception through to detailed design and final implementation.
  • Experienced in testing, commissioning and putting into service A.C. and D.C. traction systems.
  • Senior engineer on a number of prestigious electrification projects, including the Channel Tunnel Rail Link and the Power Supply Upgrade Project.
  • Certified as a Competent Engineer on both Network Rail (Category A) and on Private Customer Networks (Senior Authorised Person) on systems up to 33 kV.
  • Licensed Assessor for Competent Person on Network Rail E&P Systems.
  • Certified as a High Voltage Cable Assessor and Competent Person for works on Network Rail.
  • Approved as a Contractor's Responsible Engineer (CRE).
  • Approved as a Contractors Engineering Manager (CEM).

Dr. Nicholas Jordan - BEng(Hons), MSc, PhD, CEng, MInstP, MIET.

  • Extensive experience and knowledge in all aspects of A.C. traction distribution and D.C. traction systems engineering, from initial conception through to detailed design and final implementation.
  • Senior engineer on a number of prestigious electrification projects, including the Jubilee Extension, West Coast Route Modernisation, Channel Tunnel Rail Link and the Power Supply Upgrade Project.
  • Extensive research experience primarily within the electrification disciplines.
  • Experienced independent technical/safety assessor.
  • Certified as a Competent Engineer on Network Rail (Category B).
  • Certified as a High Voltage Cable Assessor and Competent Person for works on Network Rail.
  • Approved as a Contractor's Responsible Engineer (CRE).

Richard Roe  - BEng, IEng, MIET.

  • Extensive experience and knowledge in all aspects of power systems  engineering, from initial conception through to detailed design and final implementation.
  • Experienced in management of contract staff on project and maintenance activities and system planning activities.
  • Senior Design Engineer on a number of prestigious electrification projects, including the Channel Tunnel Rail Link and the Power Supply Upgrade Project.
  • Experienced in substation design and installation practices up to 132 kV.
  • Certified as a Competent Engineer on Network Rail (Category B).
  • Approved as a Contractor's Responsible Engineer (CRE).

Robbie Shields - BEng, MSc, MIET.

  • Extensive experience and knowledge in all aspects of A.C. distribution and A.C/D.C. traction systems engineering, from initial conception through to detailed design and final implementation.
  • Specialist high voltage A.C protection studies.
  • Switchgear & Applications experience (DNO, London Underground etc.).
  • Senior engineer on a number of prestigious electrification projects, including the CTRL (C518), Power Supply Upgrade Project, Thameslink. Sub Surface Line Upgrade and numerous Network Rail schemes.

Colin Pinder - BEng(Hons), CEng, MIET.

  • Extensive experience and knowledge in all aspects of distribution and D.C. traction systems engineering, from initial conception through to detailed design and final implementation.
  • Power system quality studies (London Underground).
  • Sub-surface line Upgrade conceptual design studies.
  • Senior engineer on a number of prestigious electrification projects, including the Power Supply Upgrade Project, Thameslink, Sub Surface Line Upgrade etc.
  • Approved as a Contractor's Responsible Engineer (CRE).
